Dragon Quest and Leg Strength

I had two epiphany dreams in my life.

Dreams that were so clear to deliver a message that I wrote ‘em down as I woke up and remember till this very day.

The first one was me getting older – the beginning of it. I truly felt that point where my… “Childhood” ended and I began my journey down the hill…

The second one I had yesterday and it took me almost 24 hours to understand and to be able to write about.

After spending the morning assembling my kids new furniture for the new year in school, I ate my cheat meal and went to sleep.

It was hot so it took me some time to fall into the rabbit hole and to slide into a deeper stage of sleep…

I found myself on a set of a gym I coach at, searching for a truth about my father (even in a sleep I was conscious that it’s a “prologue” rather then a main theme…) constantly asking question regarding some secret as he might have something to do with USA (this particular issue will be dealt later on (in a dream perhaps) as it’s still a big gap in my personality …) by not getting clear answers I was set to a journey.

As in dreams I found everybody close to me there, saying Goodbye to all and climbing the rack of rocks into something that appeared to be a cave…

At this point as I began to wake up, and my conscious being aware of surroundings of my room and the clock, in this twilight zone (that might be a life to death passage – we take for granted the fact that we will wake up when we go to sleep. Oh, the arrogance of humans!..) I was pulled back into the realm of eternity and was delivered a clear set of directions:

Down this cave you will find a… (can’t remember clearly) mystical / magical blade and the Goblet with (blackout again) thick / black blood.

Choose one (at this point I was certain that I will pick the Goblet) and you will turn into a mighty Dragon / Dragon warrior.

Then you fly to a distant land and find (nothing is given) a master who will train you for a year (even in a dream I felt it was to short) the craft of transformation (oh, now a year sound fair enough) the skill of being / becoming a Dragon / Dragon warrior.

After your apprenticeship is over, you will spend an eternity to become a master yourself…

  

 At this point I woke up with one thought pumping in my head: WRITE IT DOWN!

I did

The “aftershock” was strong – felt like a cup of a stirred black coffee – with thoughts and feelings tearing up my soul, so I went underground for the whole evening…

Slowly coffee beans began to settle down in my cup and as my mind got clear I began to think (writing “understand” would be too arrogant) about a meaning of it…

I believe I’ll figure something out by the time the earth will be young again J

Reality has many layers and one of them (for me) is what I’m about to finish this post.

In my professional life and at this particular point, this dream unfolds as such:

The cave is the profession and its dark and deep as any filed you wish to acquire the knowledge from – you must earn the light at the end of it!

The Goblet and the Sword represent the level of your craft – while the sword is an “easily accessible and ready for use solution”, the Goblet is a deep understanding of the essence (I know many who will grab the shiny blade but few, if any, who will drink the blood) a very tough burden to carry because after you tasted the blood (an essence) you can’t take the blade (solution) and you carry it alone since the essence is individual VS solution that is mostly universal…

Ironically (maybe not) K.S. Stanislavsky a founder of the Systemfor actors, said the same thing almost two centuries ago:

“You can not teach the mastery of an actor but it can be learned.”

No certification or a study we take makes us master!

The masters we meet upon your journey doesn't turn us into one, they merely teaching us the skill and give us set of tools for the next one, for your (professional) journey have a clear beginning but no end.

That’s why leg strength is so important – we are destined to walk from the day we born till the day we die…
